December 14th 2014 |
WFFC finalists will be treated to a weekend like no other. It's a fantasy football weekend fit for a champion!

In the event of a tie for first place in a qualifier, the tied players will play a one-day 'playoff' contest determine finishing position. All other ties (whether in the FFFC Final or in a Qualifier) will result in the tied players splitting the prizes for the tied finishing positions.
Welcome to the 2014 FanDuel Fantasy Football Championship (FFFC). Here are the detailed rules for the contest.
The total prize pool of the 2014 FFFC is $10,000,000. Of this pool, $7,000,000 will go towards the finals' prize pool and will be awarded to finalists according to their performance in the FFFC Live Final on December 14th. $3,000,000 will be allocated towards runner-up prizes (prizes for players who place in individual Qualifiers, but do not win a seat in the finals).
Players qualify for the FFFC Final by winning at least one of 100 entries FanDuel will award via FFFC Qualifier tournaments. The date and time of each Qualifier contest will be announced at least two weeks before it begins. Qualifier tournaments will award at least one entry into the FFFC Final. There will also be a Super Qualifier on Nov. 30th, which awards 20 entries (and trip packages) to the Las Vegas final. Exactly 100 entries into the FFFC Final will be awarded via FFFC Qualifier contests.
In each Qualifier, the entrant whose team scores the most fantasy points in each will secure one entry to the FFFC Final.
The prize for each Qualifier Winner includes $700 airfare credit for 1 roundtrip plane ticket to Las Vegas, one way transfer from airport to event hotel, three nights in a hotel, and entries to the Saturday night FanDuel party at Marquee Nightclub and the Sunday Championship viewing party. There will also be a welcome mixer hosted on Friday evening and a Saturday surprise for finalists. Each finalist may bring one guest, free of charge, to both the Saturday and Sunday parties. Additional guests may be able to attend the Saturday and Sunday parties, but will be subject to additional charges. Entries for additional guests are NOT guaranteed and will be evaluated on an ongoing basis, factoring in event capacity, overall group size, event space capacity, and catering & staffing resources.
The FFFC allows each contestant a maximum of 4 entries. Should a player win a second entry, they may choose between receiving an additional transferable Las Vegas prize package (plane ticket, hotel accommodations, and a pair of tickets to the viewing parties per entry) OR the value of the trip package ($3,500). This choice shall also be offered upon the same player winning a third and fourth entry. Once a player wins four entries to the FFFC Final, he is ineligible to enter into any future Qualifiers.
The FFFC Final will take place in Las Vegas on Sunday, December 14th.
A FFFC Super Qualifier with a total prize pool value of $2.07 million will be held on Nov. 30th. The top 20 finishers of this Super Qualifier will each win an entry to the FFFC final in Las Vegas as well as the associated trip package.
Users may enter the Super Qualifier through one of two ways: satellites or direct entry. Users will be allowed to enter the contest multiple times.
Satellites: FanDuel will run weekly satellites at a variety of buyin levels, which award entries to the Super Qualifier. Some satellites may award more than 1 seat in the Super Qualifier.
Direct Entry: Users may buy into the Super Qualifier directly for an entry fee of $200. Direct entry will be available on or around Nov. 25th.
The total prize pool value of the Super Qualifier is $2,070,000. This includes the value of entries into the FFFC final as well as the associated trip packages ($3,500 each). Runner-up prizes will be awarded in cash. The prize list is as follows:

Each Qualifying tournament will contain players from selected NFL games listed in the contest’s Info section.
Fantasy points and rosters for all contests will use standard FanDuel NFL rosters and scoring rules, as explained here: fanduel.com/rules.
In the event of a tie for first place in a qualifier, the tied players will play a one-day 'playoff' contest determine finishing position. All other ties (whether in the FFFC Final or in a Qualifier) will result in the tied players splitting the prizes for the tied finishing positions.
The final of the FFFC is only open to players aged 18 or over by the date of the won qualifier as per FanDuel's Terms of Use (fanduel.com/terms) and who complete and return to FanDuel a signed copy of the FFFC Final Affidavit of Eligibility by the deadline specified by FanDuel. Any otherwise eligible player who wins first place in a Qualifier but who does not return a completed and signed Affidavit of Eligibility by the deadline will have their finishing position swapped with the first eligible runner up. In other words, they will receive a cash prize and the runner up will receive the Vegas trip and seat in the final, provided that the runner-up completes and return to FanDuel a signed copy of the FFFC Final Affidavit of Eligibility. A copy of the Affidavit of Eligibility can be viewed below.
All other US and Canadian residents who comply with our eligibility rules for paid entry games in our terms of service are eligible to play. Residents of Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Montana, and Washington are not eligible to enter this competition. FanDuel employees may enter the competition for testing purposes but are not eligible to win any prizes. All other US and Canadian residents who comply with our Terms of Use and our other rules (including rules for paid entry games) are eligible to play in the FFFC.
Participation in the FFFC live final, and the payment of any prize won at the final, are contingent on strict compliance with the Affidavit of Eligibility. For example, no promotion of other websites or business - of any kind - is allowed by finalists at any events hosted by FanDuel in Las Vegas (these include the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday parties), unless explicit written permission has been granted by FanDuel in advance. FanDuel reserves the right to revoke attendance privileges at any event hosted by FanDuel should unauthorized promotion of a website or business take place.
Contestants will only be allowed to qualify for four seats in the FFFC live final.
All US resident FFFC finalists will be required to provide address and social security details prior to the finals event. These details will be used to file a 1099-MISC with the Internal Revenue Service for any players whose net profit on Fanduel during 2014 exceeds $600.
As described in further detail in the Affidavit of Eligibility, finalists agree that their full names, location and/or photos and videos will be used for marketing purposes. They also agree to speak to bloggers and other journalists and media personnel where applicable prior to, during and after the event, and they agree to participate in additional FanDuel marketing activities, all without additional compensation. Any finalist unprepared to adhere to this requirement will have their finishing position swapped with the first runner up that week. In other words, they'll receive a cash prize and the runner up will receive the Vegas trip and seat in the final.
The FFFC finalists will be given free accommodations for the nights of the 12th, 13th, and 14th at The Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. If the finalist cannot make the trip due to circumstances that FanDuel in its sole discretion deems extreme and outside the finalist’s control (which may include severe illness, potential loss of job, death in the family, etc.), FanDuel may authorize the finalist to nominate one other person to go in his or her place. However, the finalist will still be expected to fulfill their publicity obligations.
One ticket for guests to the Saturday and Sunday parties is free; there will be a fee for additional guests, and space for additional guests at either event is not guaranteed. There will also be a welcome mixer hosted on Friday night by FanDuel.
The decisions made by FanDuel management regarding, but not limited to, eligibility, winners, scoring, travel arrangement, rules, prizes and compliance with the Affidavit of Eligibility are considered final. No correspondence will be entered into. FanDuel reserves the right to make reasonable changes to these terms, (a) to ensure the fairness of competition, and (b) in response to unanticipated developments (such as technical failures, errors, acts of God, natural disasters, terrorism, changes in applicable law, interruption in the MLB season, failure of stats provider, failure of hotel provider, and failure to obtain a minimum number of entrants).
In consideration for the opportunity to participate in the FanDuel Fantasy Football Championship (“FFFC”), and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, I agree as follows:
