Lesnar’s WWE Deal, Heyman-HOF Rumors, Ambrose’s Debut
– As we reported earlier this week, Brock Lesnar’s management team negotiated a unique contract wit WWE that allows him to wear sponsors on his ring gear and clothing. A source reports that Lesnar insisted this be part of the deal. He is the first performer Vince McMahon has ever allowed to promote independent sponsors.
– Joey Styles wrote on Twitter that he’s still hoping to induct Paul Heyman into the WWE Hall of Fame next year from the New York/New Jersey area.
– Dean Ambrose will indeed be debuting on WWE’s main roster soon and the current storyline with Mick Foley is designed to make him a top name right off the bat. Ambrose was asked on Twitter what he thought about Foley’s recent blog on their encounters. Ambrose replied:
“To be honest, I expected a little more fight out of @realmickfoley. I mourn the loss of his “testicular fortitude””
