Whether you witnessed the fall of the Berlin Wall, protests in South America, coups in Asia or historic transitions in Africa, NDI provided both life and work experiences you won’t soon forget. NDI is recognized as the top democracy organization in the world because of the dedication of its staff and the work that you did to make our programs stronger.
Many alumni want to remain involved in NDI and are forming active user groups on social networking sites like LinkedIn and Facebook. Alumni also support NDI by providing pro-bono services, volunteering for training and contributing financially. Generally, our most ardent supporters — alumni like you — contribute to NDI because they take pride in this effort and want to ensure that it will continue!
NDI believes that gifts from alumni are unique. We have, therefore, created a special way for alumni to contribute financially. With a gift of $250 or more, NDI alums will be recognized as an NDI Guardian. You will also receive:
-
An annual conference call with NDI’s president and program staff
-
A ticket to an annual NDI awards event
-
Inclusion in an annual alumni reunion
-
Regular newsletters

You also have the option to make a charitable donation to NDI in honor or memory of someone special. If you like, we will send a note to the family or individual noting that you have made a gift to NDI in their name.
NDI appreciates all that you do for the Institute and welcomes your ideas on how best to engage our alumni. For any questions about our alumni program, please contact Veronica Pollock at 202-728-5401.
