Stand Up 2: Developing Your Onstage Voice
This class is a 6 week intensive workshop for performers with some stand up experience. Both writing and performance are covered, including crowd work, dealing with hecklers, and writing techniques. You'll get classroom exercises, outside assignments, and one-on-one attention from a working professional with over 15 years of experience. The class will focus on polishing existing material, developing new material and honing your on stage persona. (This class was formerly known as Advanced Stand Up.)
All of our courses are taught by veteran instructors who are also long-time performers. Classes meet at our theater OR at one of our nearby rental spaces just a short walk away. Each session concludes with a class show on our stage for your friends and family!
Prerequisites: Intro to Stand Up or commensurate experience, with approval
