Since I’d pinned the first Hendrix poster on the wall of my room in the seventies I wanted to become a guitar player. And since I’d picked up a camera for the first time I wanted to shoot Rock’n'Roll. What I did. There’s not much to predict and there’s not much to get planned ahead when you’re shooting a live show. Whether on stage, during an interview or in the studio – taking pictures of musicians and bands yet gives me quite a thrill. It’s probably the adrenalin on stage and behind the lens that makes music a very special assignment.
