Morgan Lane Offers Lingerie For Every Occasion
When it comes to the racy, elaborate little lingerie pieces you see in movies there is a longstanding conundrum: It looks appealing, provocative, downright glamorous (cue visions of Belle de Jour-era Catherine Deneuve), but when does one actually wear it? Luckily, we got some insight from designer Morgan Curtis, Jill Stuart’s daughter and the woman behind the super pretty intimates line Morgan Lane, on Gilt tomorrow at noon ET. “I have always been in love with lingerie,” Morgan tells us. “The details, the lace, the closeness to your body; I love how personal it is, how it is clothing you can really connect with.” Though the twentysomething designer advocates a more permanent routine (“[My mom] wears my lingerie everyday”), here are a few occasions for which she says forgo your plain, day-to-day staples for the right silky, appliquéd, and all-around sexier skivvies.
