For the first time since 2005--the year the triple-threat of White Noise, Game 6, and Herbie Fully Loaded hit theaters--Michael Keaton is going to show his face in more than one film next year.

With Hugh Laurie unable to reach a deal with MGM, Michael Keaton has reportedly taken over the role of Raymond Sellars in José Padilha's RoboCop remake. He'll be filling a part that sounds a lot like the Dick Jones role filled by Ronny Cox in the 1987 original, playing the evil CEO of the powerful corporation that constructs the film's titular cyborg police guy.

Last month, Keaton promised he'll also be appearing alongside Larry David and Jon Hamm in a still-untitled, Greg Mottola-directed, improvised comedy film for HBO. So yeah, as of late, M.K. is doing alright for himself. Don't want to speak too soon but... maybe this is the year for Mul2plicity?
