Securing WordPress Workshop Now Available

Due to a recent hacking of a WordPress site on campus, ITS has created a new “Securing WordPress” workshop which details steps you can take to better protect a WordPress instance.
The topics below will be covered in this workshop:
- Common WordPress exploits and vulnerabilities
- Security steps to take during WordPress installation
- WordPress account management best practices
- WordPress plugins to assist in securing a website
“Securing WordPress” workshops are currently scheduled for :
- 2/27 3:00 – 4:30
- 3/12 10:00 – 11:30
- 3/27 3 – 4:30
All workshops will be help in Forney 112.
