FAQs

Who can reserve space in the EUC?

The EUC and all of its operations are funded by student fees.  Officially recognized student organizations, academic and administrative departments and when available, community groups are eligible to reserve space in the EUC.

How does my group become an Officially Recognized Student Organization?

This process is delegated to and administered by the Office of Campus Activities and Programs.  Please visit their website at cap.uncg.edu , for all of the details.

Where should I check for lost and found?

Lost and found items are logged in and held at the Information Desk on the first floor of the EUC. The Information Desk receives lost and found items from anyone who turns them into the desk. All Spartan Cards turned in are taken to the Spartan Card center. If we do not have your item you can leave your information and the Info Desk staff will contact you if it is turned in.

How do I reserve a table in the EUC – Commons?

Reservations for tables in the EUC- Commons as well as the meeting rooms are handled by the Reservations Office located on the second floor (EUC – 221) in the EUC.  Reservations are not taken over the telephone so you must visit or email this office at reservations.uncg.edu.

What are the UNCG Bookstore hours?

For the most up to date hours, please visit the bookstore website at bookstore.uncg.edu.

My group is interested in placing a collection box in the EUC for clothes/books/canned goods, etc.  What are the guidelines regarding collection boxes?

All collection box requests must be approved by the EUC Assistant Director, Kathleen McGirty.  We allow up to two organizations to each place one collection box at an appropriate location in the EUC.  We will not allow competing collection boxes (i.e. two organizations collecting books will not be approved for the same time period).  These boxes may stay for a maximum of two weeks and must be emptied on a regularly by a member of the sponsoring organization.  Any materials remaining after two weeks may be donated to a Greensboro charity.
