S1000 Streaming Server Hardware and Software Platform
The Entropy Wave Streaming Server is a standalone special-purpose HTTP server implemented using GStreamer and libsoup. Its special purpose is to serve live video streams that are provided either by an encoding application (such as Entropy Wave Capture or VLC) or the Entropy Wave E1000 Multi-format Live Encoder. Live streams can be embedded in any web page using either the HTML5 video tag, a custom HTML5 video player, or Flash.We offer this produce as a free, entirely open source project to anyone looking to scale their video to end users. More information, documentation, and git repository links are located on our open source website. Due to requests, we have also made this available as a hardware product.

  • Streaming in WebM, Ogg/Theora, MPEG-TS, Flash Video, and HTTP Live Streaming

  • Can act as a reverse proxy for one or more E1000?s or other Entropy Wave Streaming Servers
  • Stream upload using HTTP PUT or Icecast
  • Stream upload format: Ogg/Theora or WebM
