How can I help with GCUC?
There are a couple of ways that you can be a part of the production of GCUC. The first way is to become a sponsor. The second way is to volunteer your time or services. We will have a better idea of what kind of manpower we will need closer to the date of the conference. If you know you would like to help, please contact us and let us know what expertise or skills you can share and will put you on our list. I know the coworking community has a lot of generous, helping hands, so the interest in volunteering may exceed our need.
Is there a dress code?
Yes, If you don’t have a shirt you better have great abs and a cowboy hat on. Please wear deodorant.
Where is the Austin Music Hall and Where Should I Stay?
The Austin Music Hall is located at 208 Nueces Street, Austin, TX 78701. Right smack dab in the center of downtown Austin. Here is a map with nearby hotels. Familiarize yourself! Our recommendations for nearby hotels are: Extended Stay America, Hampton Inn & Suites, Radisson Hotel & Suites, and W Hotel. Is the Conference in English?
Yes. The Conference will be entirely in English.
Will the Conference be live streamed or recorded?
No. The live content of the conference will be exclusively for attendees.
What can I do for fun outside of the Conference?
Austin is a great city! It’s the Capitol of Texas and home to one of the most prestigious universities in the world. We will organize walking tours of both the Capitol and University of Texas campus during break times. If you want to venture out on your own take a tour of the city on an Austin Duck Tour check out the hike & bike trail and a view of Lady Bird Lake or take a dip in Barton Springs. For those of you looking for the nightlife, Austin’s famous 6th Street is a must-see. Still looking for something else? There will be plenty of seasoned Austinites at the conference who will be able to help you find plenty to do!
Will there be a tour of Austin’s Coworking Spaces?
No, not an official one, but here is a map with all of Austin’s Coworking spaces. Feel free take a tour of them on your own or with a group!

Is there an after-party?
Yes, dig out your dancing shoes and get ready to celebrate with all your new found Coworking friends. We’ll be at Austin’s own Vuka Co-op for a disco party.
