The AACR journals' Author Services Center provides valuable tools and information to assist authors with all aspects of publishing in AACR journals — from selecting the appropriate journal for your manuscript, to formatting the manuscript for submission, to reviewing and returning proofs for accepted articles. A comprehensive list of frequently asked questions is also provided for your convenience.


AACR Journal Scopes

The eight AACR journals vary in scope. If you are unsure which of the journals would be most appropriate for your area of research, please review the journal descriptions provided on the Submit a Manuscript page.


AACR Journal Metrics

Please visit the Impact Factor page to view key metrics, such as impact factor and Eigenfactor®, for each of our journals. These metrics are updated on an annual basis.


AACR Journal Editorial Policies

The AACR journals' editorial policies, practices, and guidelines can be found in the Editorial Policies section of the Instructions for Authors. It is the author's responsibility to ensure that manuscript submissions adhere to these policies.


Copyright and Permissions Policies

Visit the Copyright and Permissions section of the Instructions for Authors to access each journal's copyright transfer form and to review the policies on copyright and requests to reproduce information previously published in an AACR journal.


Language Editing Services

For the convenience of our authors, we have provided a list of editing and proofreading services for scientific manuscripts. Authors should be advised that use of one of these services does not guarantee manuscript acceptance. Furthermore, the AACR does not endorse or take responsibility for any of these services. Cell Line Authentication Services

AACR strongly encourages the authentication of cell lines used in the research reported in its journals. The full policy on this matter is available in the AACR journals Instructions for Authors. To assist authors in adhering to this policy, we have provided a list of Cell Line Authentication Services. Authors should be advised that use of one of these services does not guarantee manuscript acceptance. Furthermore, the AACR does not endorse or take responsibility for any of these services.


Assisting Authors with Archiving Mandates
