Oct. 24, 2014 : Pearl Jam Cincinnati event poster release Monday, Oct. 27 @4:00 PM EST I will be selling the signed and numbered edition prints of the Cincinnati show on Monday, Oct. 27th at 4:00 PM EST. You can reach the store by clicking on the link at the right of the page. There are 100 prints available, first come, first serve, ONE PRINT PER CUSTOMER. As usual, if you try to buy more than one, all of your orders will be cancelled. More specifics on the store (price, etc) as Monday gets closer. Oct. 15, 2014 : Pendleton X Penny collaboration release I'm proud to announce that a project I've been working on for a while is finally avaialble. I designed these Penny Skateboards with one idea in mind: Fun. These are being released in limited quantities so pick one up at your local shop while they're available. Oct. 1 , 2014 : Pearl Jam Cincinnati print I won't have these for another week or so...my best guess for having them signed and online/available is probably around the 15th of Oct. at the earliest. Sept 4 , 2014 : New Print Set Release at Poster Child Prints Available today is a set of two screen prints published by Poster Child Prints. This is an edition of 150, 6-color screen prints on archival cotton rag paper entitled, 'Rapture' and 'Ressurection.' Each print is 14" x 18" and again, this is a set of 2 (two) prints. August 25 , 2014 : What the Morning Brings, Rochester, NY Upcoming show with an opening on Sept. 6th, featuring the work of Todd Bratrud, Michael Sieben and myself in Rochester, NY at 1975 Gallery. July 22 , 2014 : Ultimate Ears Boom Limited Artist Edition speaker out now I teamed up with Logitech/Ultimate Ears to produce a limited artist edition of the UE BOOM speaker. It's a wireless speaker that features 360 degrees of sound, waterproof, stainproof and super durable. This model is called the 'Jettison' and I worked up an original piece specifically for this model. Early on, I received a sample and couldn't believe how amazing the sound quality was so I was excited to get involved with this. Production is limited to 200 pieces. You can order it online and it is also available in select retail stores and boutiques. Check out the information here. I've been working on new paintings for some upcoming shows. April 26 , 2014 : 'Distance Decay and Time Space Compression' opening at AR4T May 3rd Sincere thanks to the Huntington Museum of Art for the support with the current 'Fine Lines' exhibit. The public reception was incredibly successful and I'm grateful to everyone who came out. The 3-day workshops were also amazing. So for everyone who came by or was involved, I appreciate the outpouring of support. The exhibit will be open until June 1st so if you're in the area, stop by to see it and stay for the museum's awesome permanent collection. Coming up next week, I have an opening at Artist's Republic 4 Tomrrow in Laguna Beach. The show is titled, Distance Decay and Time Space Compression,' and will feature art from myself, Ferris Plock and Jason Adams. Ferris and Jason are super talented so I'm looking foward to seeing all of the work together. The opening night is May 3rd (Saturday) at 6:00 pm. To commemorate the exhibit, I've done a limited edition print for AR4T that is available now and will be sold the night of the opening at the gallery. It is a 3-color screen print, 18" x 24" on archival cotton rag paper, each signed and numbered. The cost is $65. To order, simply click here or on the image of the print below. April 9 , 2014 : 'Fine Lines' Public Reception tomorrow at HMoA The public reception for the 'Fine Lines' exhibit at the Huntington Museum of Art in Huntington, WV is upon us tomorrow. If you're in the area, stop by the museum at 7:00 PM to check out the work. There are 60 boards I've designed from the past 15 years on display as well as some paintings and prints. I spent some time out in San Francisco recently to work on a mural at Juice Design...I will have some photos of that up next week. I also did a small series of promotional decks for them recently. (see below). Thanks to Welcome Skateboards for allowing us to use their Sledgehammer shape for these. Some more exhibits coming up soon. Please check back in the next week or so.
March 16 , 2014 : Pearl Jam 'The City Sleeps' print available tomorrow The night before the first Pearl Jam Brooklyn date, I did a live painting event at the Volcom/PJ Pop-up shop in NYC. Feb. 23, 2014 : "Fine Lines" exhibit at Huntington Museum of Art Upcoming exhibit at the Huntington Museum of Art in Huntington, WV. Dates and schedules below. Please go to the HMoA website for more information. Public reception is scheduled for April 10 at 7:00 PM. HMOoA website here. The exhibit will feature 60 skateboard decks from the past 15 years, original paintings and prints. Feb. 18, 2014 : New 'Mutability' screen print available tomorrow through PCP I have a new screenprint available through Poster Child Prints tomorrow, Feb. 19. It is a limited edition of 100, 5-color scren prints, each hand signed and numbered in pencil. The last edition I did with them sold quickly so please check it out if you're interested. Jan.14, 2014: UPDATE: Limerence second edition available soon, Know Show/Vancouver UPDATE: Due to delayed obligations because of the weather, the books and new products will be available Weds, Feb. 5th. Sorry for the inconvenience but it's mostly to make sure that I can ship items within a few days of receiving orders. Thanks for understanding. There is a lot of stuff coming up in the way of prints so I'm doing my best to manage the dates and availability. Apologies for the recent silence...lots going on with future projects and upcoming events. The second edition of Limerence will be available January 27th. The first edition sold out quickly so I had another set of 150 copies made. Same deal as before; these will all be signed and numbered 150-300 and available only through my online store. More info next week but I believe these will also go up in batches of 50 at a time. I will also have some other products available at that time. I will be at Know Show tradeshow in Vancouver this week doing a live painting event. If you'll be there, please find my booth and stop by. There will be a limited print available there and some copies of Limerence to purchase if you're interested. Also have a new print through Poster Child Prints coming the week of the 20th and an exhibit at the Huntington Museum of Art in March. More information on those things next week also.Oh, another Pearl Jam print on the way as well but it's secret for now. See you in Vancouver.
Dec. 6 , 2013: Charity Buzz Pearl Jam Painting Auction, Another Limerence update The painting that I did at the Volcom store in NYC is live at auction right now through Pearl Jam's Vitalogy Foundation on CharityBuzz. This was a painting done at the Pop-Up shop the night before the first Brooklyns show. All money raised from this goes directly to the Alzheimer's Association. There is one final day left so please check it out if you have any interest. The money goes to a great cause and the painting is 48" x 48." The Limerence books are officially gone but I'm in the process of getting a second edition printed up. I will have more news about that as they get closer to delivery but I'm hoping to have them here this month, possibly before Christmas. I will also have one more round of brush sketches up around December 12th in the store for those looking for holiday gifts. Thanks to everyone for their continued support.
Nov. 23, 2013: 50/50 Art auction, more Limerence news I am participating in an auction to raise funds for a skatepark, organized by Project Loop entitled, 50/50. Nov. 16, 2013: Additional 'LIMERENCE' editions available Tues, 11/19 UPDATE BELOW I will be posting 50 additional copies of Limerence on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 4:00 pm EST. There will be copies 65- 115 out of 150 available copies. There will also be some original pieces up again. More news soon...just staying busy and working on upcoming projects and shows. Thanks again for the continued support. UPDATE:* This batch sold out really quick again. Had a few emails and just wanted to clairify that the reason I am making them available in 'batches' is simply because it takes a long time to pack and label them. I have other projects that I'm working on at the same time so it was the only way I could manage the shipping properly on top of the rest of my daily duties. The last batch will be up in early December. I will post the date a week in advance on here and on my twitter account. Thanks again for all the support...it bums me out that some people aren't getting them who want one but in doing a small batch, the main reason was because I had no idea what kind of interest there would be and taking the expense on myself of all parts of this, I had to work conservatively. Please check back soon. ALSO there will be some more original artwork posted the closer we get to the holidays that will be available. There are a few sketches left now in the store but I'll have some paintings up as well after Thanksgiving.
Nov. 7, 2013: 'LIMERENCE' book release later today 50 of the 150 copies of Limerence will be available today at 4:00 PM EST. I will be offering these up in 3 sets of 50 between now and the holidays. The next sale date will be determined by quantities sold and will be announced in the coming weeks. 'Limerence' is a limited-edition book of illustrations from the past 15 years (1998-2013). Each copy is signed and numbered on the 3rd page. It is soft back, perfect bound, 100 pages total with over 160 images, full-color, front to back. The book measures in at 6.5" x 9.5" Cost is $45 + shipping. I ASK THAT FOR THESE FIRST 50 COPIES, PLEASE LIMIT YOUR PURCHASE TO ONE BOOK EACH. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND EVERYONE IS LIMITED TO ONE SET EACH. Additional purchases will result in a cancelled order so please play by the rules so that there isn't a shortage for those who are wanting to buy a set. Oct. 28, 2013: Brooklyn Pearl Jam Prints available Oct. 31st The prints from the Brooklyn Pearl Jam shows will be available on October 31 (Thursday) at 2:00 PM EST. These will be sold as a set only for now. Each print is 18" x 24" 5-color screen print on speckletone paper with alternate colors from the version available at the show. Each piece is hand signed and numbered and limited to 100 sets. Check back here for the link to the store on 10/30. Price will be $115 USD for the set of two. Limit of ~~two (2) sets~~* one set per paypal account for the first week of sales. Oct. 16, 2013: Original paintings and Pearl Jam Brooklyn show prints I've had a lot of emails about original artwork recently. I'm not in my studio right now but the only original work available is through Artists Republic 4 Tomorrow at the moment. They have a pretty good selection of pieces from my current show in their gallery so please contact them directly if you're interested in purchasing. I will have 2 separate prints available next week: One for each of the Brooklyn, NY shows (Oct. 18 & Oct. 19) These will be signed and numbered, an edition limited to 50 100 each print. Oct. 11, 2013: Pearl Jam/ Volcom live painting event, NYC On midnight of October 15th (that's 14th going into the 15th), I will be at the Volcom store in SoHo, NYC for a live painting event/album release event. You can pick up Pearl Jam's new album, Lightning Bolt, on Vinyl and CD, there will also be exlusive screen prints and t-shirts that I designed available for this event only. If you are in the area, stop by and check it out. Should be a blast. I will have some more info about the work I did with Pearl Jam in the next few weeks.
Oct. 1, 2013: Uncloudy Day print/Exhibit Preview If you are in the Laguna Beach area Thursday evening (Oct. 3), please stop by the exhibit. (info posted below). Artists Republic 4 Tomorrow has released a print ("Uncloudy Day") limited to 50 pieces, signed and numbered. Even if you cannot make it to the show, you can order the prints while they last from the AR4T website here. August 22, 2013: Darkroom revival Back in 2005, I started a project that was to become Darkroom, which was mostly an offering of t-shirts. This time around, I decided to put together a line of my own custom skateboard decks. Those are out and available now through the Darkroom store.
