Welcome to the RHIC & AGS Users' Center at Brookhaven

The RHIC & AGS Users' Center provides personal and administrative assistance to the experimenters from around the world who come to Brookhaven to use the Collider Accelerator user facilities. These facilities include the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC), Alternating Gradient Synchrotron (AGS), Tandem Van de Graaff, NASA Space Radiation Laboratory (NSRL), and the Accelerator Test Facility (ATF).

In addition to these facilities this Center also administers guests working on the eRHIC, Daya Bay, the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST). LSST and the US ATLAS program. The Center acts as an advocate on behalf of users with the Brookhaven management. It also ensures that guests comply with Laboratory policies, standards, procedures, regulations, and training.

One of ten national laboratories overseen and primarily funded by the Office of Science of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Brookhaven National Laboratory conducts research in the physical, biomedical, and environmental sciences, as well as in energy technologies and national security.
