Here is my newest work.
It started as an ZBrush texturing exercise and ended up in this image.
The base mesh is modeled in Cinema 4D, all textures are made with ZBrush by projecting photographs. The clothes have been rendered in Cinema whereas ZBrush’s renderer has been used for the face. I composed both renderes later in Photoshop. I also rendered multiple passes of the image to have more control over the shader properties.
The tiny little hair on the ear and back are done with Cinema hair :)
For the face texture, I think I used not less than 10 reference images from www.3d.sk
