Shooting Challenge #14 - The Winner Is...
In the last Shooting Challenge, you were tasked with capturing nature taking back the land. Many of you jumped at the opportunity to capture the world around you given the shorter than usual time with which to snap and submit your entries.
There were so many great photos this week and picking a winner was really difficult. In the end, my criteria was this - if I was making a photobook, which image would I want to grace the cover?
So congratulations this week must go to Dhina Karan for his striking capture of a plant growing on a wall where the render has fallen away. Entitled ‘Exploiting the loop-holes is not just human behaviour’, the image was shot on a Canon 60D with 18-135mm lens.
I really liked the simplicity of it and Dhina’s title for the photo really struck a chord with me.
Honorable mentions also to the following people:
Abbie Turner - Urban 1
Andrew Hardie - Aircraft Hanger
Andy Vickers - Urban 2
Graham Lindley - Urban 2
You will find all of the entries over on our Flickr page; go check em out and come back and tell us what your favourite image is.
Thanks again to everyone that participated in this shorter-than-usual Shooting Challenge. There will be another one next week, and I am really excited about it.. Here’s a little clue... ‘VM’
