By day, I manage Twitter and Facebook communities for a Fortune 300 company. The rest of the time I’m just an average guy who eats, drinks, sleeps and lives sports. You’ll quickly learn I’m a loud, unapologetic Iowa Hawkeye and Pittsburgh Steelers fan, though don’t expect a ton of stuff about those teams here.

As publisher of Fourthand140.com, I try to combine my passion for social media and sports. You’ll read about the role social media plays in sports – from the simple sharing of local high school football scores on Twitter to analyzing the impact of social media on the NFL or college football.

I absolutely welcome your feedback on Fourth and 140 whenever and wherever possible. This has been a fun experiment in a space not many people are covering.
