Have You Heard Them All?

How many people have heard every single episode of the Dunesteef?
I haven't yet, but I'm working on it. I didn't want to create this thread until I got there, but then I realized, some people are already there and I was curious to know how many. And then maybe there should be a name for those people. Like the Dunesteefians....or not. This is why a thread is necessary. So others can come up with a cool name.

No - I haven't yet. I would like to - but I listen to WAY too many podcasts, and it's hard to keep up with the ones I'm subscribed to ! I will in due course though. I've gone back and listened to the old 'The Strange Case of ...' episodes - so that's a start at least !

Unfortunately, I have. Three years I'll never get back.
It might be fun, though, to post favorite episodes here, as a recommendation for those who might be new to the podcast.
If you put a gun to my head, I'd probably say "Anakoinosis." But it would be the second thing I'd say.
The first would be, "Sorry for just soiling myself."

I have listened to all of the Dunesteef episodes. Earlier this year, I listed my top 10 episodes HERE, but the 'cast was only up to Episode 93 at the time. Since then, there have been even more incredible stories! Yeah, I'd say "Anakoinosis" is my #1 at this point. I will have to do an update at the beginning of next year or just focus on stories from 2011.
However, looking over that old list, I would probably drop "Casts a Demon's Shadow" and "Framing and Mounting Fairies" down into the teens (still good stories), and add in "Uberman" and "Lost In Memory" to the top ten.

I am but 1.5 episodes short of having listened to them all! I'll let you know when I finish. The ones left are "Plague Birds" and "The Alarm".

Oh...as for a name for Dunsteef fans, I say we keep it on the mysterious side and not make a plural form. There are Escape Artists, Drabblecast Weirdos, and then there are the people known only as the Dunesteef.

This kind of stuff is so interesting to me. It makes me think of that guy who said that comments about episodes were there to help us know what their preferences were, so we could tailor our story choices to them. I find it weird to find some stories that I thought were among our weaker ones in Marshal's list of top ten. Crazy how everyone's tastes are different. I'd like to force everyone who listens to all the episodes to make a top ten list like that, just so I could see what everyone thinks, but of course, I can't force anyone...I suppose I could suggest it...

I'm sure you will get a top ten from Unblinking when he gets through the last two eps. His top ten articles in Diabolical Plots are what gave me the idea.

6) Book Scouts of the Galactic Rim

10) The Strange Affair of the..... (I'll lump these together, but may have like the 1st one the best so far)

Yes indeed! 5 months of catching up on back episodes, and now the list is imminent.
