AIRPORT

Nashville International Airport (BNA) is approximately eight miles from the Grand Ole Opry House and is accessible by shuttle or car service and taxi.

ALCOHOL MANAGEMENT

For most events at the Grand Ole Opry House, alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Alcohol sales will be limited to two alcoholic beverages per customer per transaction. All guests may be required to show ID to purchase alcohol. Guests are not permitted to bring in alcoholic beverages from outside and may not leave with alcohol purchased inside the Grand Ole Opry House. Management reserves the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest.

ANIMALS

Animals or pets are not permitted on the premises at the Opry Entertainment Complex under normal circumstances, with the exception of service animals such as guide dogs. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities.

ASSISTIVE LISTENING DEVICES

FM Assistive Listening Devices (ear speakers, headsets or neckloops) are available for Grand Ole Opry shows at The Opry Shop (located within the Grand Ole Opry House). A Photo ID will be required and held until the listening device is returned. There is no charge for this service.

ATM

There is no ATM at the Grand Ole Opry House. The Opry Ticket Office, The Opry Shop and Food Service locations do accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.

ATTIRE

Wondering what to wear to the Grand Ole Opry? Just as the styles vary on the Opry stage, so too do they vary in the seats of the Opry House. You'll see everything from faded jeans to business suits, and from cowboy hats to your Sunday best. Just remember a rule we take very seriously here at the Grand Ole Opry ... you have to wear something!

AUDIO RECORDINGS

Unfortunately, audio recordings of the weekly Grand Ole Opry show are not available for purchase, but there are a host of Opry recordings for sale online in The Opry Shop. Plus, you can also listen online on WSMonline.com, including archives of past Opry shows.

AUTOGRAPHS

Ticketholders and guests must abide by the instructions of Grand Ole Opry staff with regard to seeking autographs and approaching artists.

BABY CHANGE FACILITIES

The Opry Entertainment Complex provides baby change facilities in most female and male restrooms throughout the Grand Ole Opry House.

BOTTLES AND CONTAINERS

Outside food and beverages, including water, are not permitted in the Grand Ole Opry House at any time.

The Grand Ole Opry Box Office is located just to the left of the main entrance of the Grand Ole Opry House.

Because the Opry show is presented at the Ryman Auditorium during these months, hours from the above schedule vary based on events being presented at the Opry House.

The Opry Box Office will remain open later on nights when there are ticketed events scheduled. These hours are subject to change. Please call 1-800-SEE-OPRY or visit opry.com for event schedule. Cash, American Express, VISA, MasterCard and Discover, plus checks and money orders with valid photo ID, are all acceptable forms of payment at our Box Office. (Please note: We do not accept checks or money orders for tickets purchased online or via phone.) For more information, see Tickets.

BUS DROP-OFF & PARKING

If you are arriving via bus, the size of your bus will determine where you will be dropped off and/or park.  Buses with a capacity of less than 28 seats will be directed to park in the Opry Mills shopping mall bus parking area.  Motor coaches and other buses with a capacity of more than 28 seats will park in the Grand Ole Opry House’s Bus parking lot with proximate access to the Opry House Group entrance doors.

CAMERAS

Video cameras, monopods, tripods, and audio recording devices are not permitted inside the Grand Ole Opry House at any time. This policy will be strictly enforced. You may bring in a digital, disposable or 35mm camera. However, for some events cameras of any type and/or flash photography may be prohibited. The Opry reserves the right to disallow photography as warranted.

CANCELLED/POSTPONED EVENTS

While some artists may cancel for an Opry performance, the Opry event will remain as scheduled. Unused tickets will not be refunded. For other events scheduled in the Grand Ole Opry House, please contact the point of ticket purchase regarding cancellations. You may visit opry.com or you may contact Customer Service at 1-800-SEE-OPRY for additional information or assistance.

CATERING

For information on catering opportunities at the Opry Entertainment Complex, please call the Special Events department at (615) 231-1503.

CHILDREN

For Grand Ole Opry shows, any child four years and older requires a ticket to gain admittance to the show. Any child who has yet to reach their fourth birthday does not require a ticket; however, they may not occupy their own seat and must sit on a parent's or guardian's lap. For more information, you may contact Customer Service at 1-800-SEE-OPRY, any weekday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT.

COAT CHECK

The Grand Ole Opry House does not provide an area to check coats or any other personal belongings. We are not responsible for any property that is lost, stolen, or damaged.

 

CODE OF CONDUCT

- Guests shall be respectful of others around them.
- Guests shall avoid blocking the view of other guests.
- During some concerts at the Opry House, the artists may request that guests be permitted to stand immediately in front of their seats during the entirety of the performance. On those occasions, standing guests shall continue to be respectful of others around them.
- Guests shall not interfere with the show, event, or the performers.
- Guests shall refrain from using foul/offensive language, fighting, obscene gestures, throwing objects and engaging in other behavior detrimental to the experience of other guests.
- Guests shall not stand on seats or any other building structure.
- Guests shall not block the aisles.
- Guests shall not occupy a seat or remain in an area for which they do not possess a valid ticket and shall provide their ticket upon request.
- As required by the City of Nashville, guests shall not smoke anywhere in our facilities.
- Guests who consume alcoholic beverages shall do so in a responsible manner.
- Guests are encouraged to report inappropriate or offensive behavior to an Usher, Security Officer or Guest Services Representative.
- Guests shall comply with requests from the Opry House staff regarding auditorium operational and emergency procedures.

The Opry staff has been trained to intervene when deemed necessary and to use their best discretion to help ensure that guests who ignore the Code of Conduct do not interfere with other guests' ability to enjoy an event. Guests who violate the Code of Conduct may be subject to ejection without refund and, to the extent their conduct constitutes a violation of law, may be subject to arrest. We thank you for your cooperation.

CONCESSIONS

The Grand Ole Opry House offers a variety of food and beverage items for purchase including such items as hot dogs, chicken tenders, pizza, popcorn, candy, sodas, and bottled water. Items vary based on the event. Concession stands are located in the lobby of both floors of the Grand Ole Opry House and accept cash, American Express, VISA, MasterCard, and Discover for purchases. Guests are welcome to enjoy their purchases in the auditorium during any Opry show.

DISABLED SERVICES

Disabled Services Tickets
- The Grand Ole Opry provides disabled accommodations and sells tickets to disabled individuals through our Customer Service department, which may be reached at 1-800-SEE-OPRY, Monday through Saturday,  from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT.

Accessible Seating
- At a minimum, based upon availability, guests will be permitted to purchase tickets for the person requiring accessible seating and one guest beside them. Guests may also purchase tickets based on availability for additional guests in close proximity to our accessible sections.  

Wheelchairs
- For individuals who have limited mobility, we have a limited number of wheelchairs available to transport guests from the main lobby to their seats. Upon arriving at the Grand Ole Opry House, guests should ask a Host or Hostess for assistance.  Please be aware that our staff will not remain with the guest during the event, nor will they allow the guest to remain in the wheelchair for the duration of the event unless they are seated in the wheelchair accessible seating area.  Wheelchair loans require a state issued Photo ID which will be returned when the wheelchair is returned.

Ticket Relocation
- If a guest requires the use of a wheelchair but has obtained non-accessible tickets, please call our Customer Service department or a Host or Hostess can be contacted to try to relocate the guest (if accessible seats have not sold out). We do, however, encourage guests to utilize our services when purchasing tickets, so that we may better assist them with an accessible seating reservation.

Temporary Disabilities
- Guests who have a temporary disability/injury after purchasing their tickets should call our Customer Services department so that we can make the necessary arrangements that will enable them to attend the event in a comfortable and enjoyable manner. When calling, guests should have their ticket information including date, section, row, and seat available.

DONATIONS

The Grand Ole Opry receives a large number of charity requests, and unfortunately, cannot contribute to everyone. To be considered, one must submit their request on company letterhead to Grand Ole Opry, Attn: Sandy Judge, 2804 Opryland Drive, Nashville, TN 37214 or fax to (615) 231-1558.

Once your request is received, it will be reviewed to determine whether it fits within our contribution guidelines and budget. You will only be notified if we can grant your request.

ELEVATOR

The Elevator within the Grand Ole Opry House is located in the lobby to your left as you enter.

EMERGENCY CONTACT INFORMATION

The best way to be contacted during an emergency is to set your cell phone to vibrate. Please be sure to leave your seat location information with those who may need to contact you. The Grand Ole Opry is a live radio show and is not able to page ticket holders during a show.

EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION

The Grand Ole Opry is proud of its commitment to customer service and we are pleased when we hear of employees who perform in an exemplary manner. If you would like to give any of our employees special recognition please e-mail us at opryinfo@opry.com.  

ENTRY/EXIT

To enter the Grand Ole Opry House for a show, please use the doors along the front of the building. When it is time to exit, guests will be directed by our staff to the door most convenient including the use of side doors, especially when other guests are waiting for the next show.  If you are not seated with others in your party, please arrange a meeting place in the Opry Plaza prior to separating.

FAMILY RESTROOMS

Accessible restrooms are located throughout the Opry Entertainment Complex.  There is no family or unisex restroom in the Opry House.  Should someone in your party require assistance from a member of the opposite gender, please see a Host or Hostess for assistance.

FIREARMS

No firearms (with or without a permit) are allowed at the Grand Ole Opry. All persons, bags (including purses) and articles are subject to search.

FIRST AID

Grand Ole Opry personnel are available to assist any guest in need. If you need assistance please contact any Host or Hostess who can assist with obtaining the proper care for your needs. The Grand Ole Opry House is equipped with Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) located in various locations throughout the building. Designated employees, including our Medical staff, have been properly trained and certified to use the AED. In the event of a medical emergency, contact a member of our staff for assistance.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES

Outside food and beverages, including water, are not permitted in the Grand Ole Opry House at any time. The Grand Ole Opry House offers a wide variety of food and beverages for sale. For more information, see Concessions.

GATE TIMES

Grand Ole Opry House doors open at different times for different events. Generally, though, seating will begin 30-60 minutes prior to the performance start time.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

Gift certificates are a great gift to present to family, friends, co-workers, and employees. These gift certificates can be redeemed for tickets at the Opry Ticket Office. You may purchase your gift certificate directly from the Opry Ticket Office or by phone at 1-800-SEE-OPRY.

GROUP INFORMATION AND RESERVATIONS

GUEST SERVICES

The Grand Ole Opry is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Any guest in need of assistance during an event should seek a Host or Hostess.

HANDLING FEE

A ticket handling fee is charged on all tickets ordered online or through the call center. Handling fees for Grand Ole Opry shows are not charged on tickets purchased at the Opry Ticket office. Handling fees are generally charged on other events held at the Grand Ole Opry House and those fees, and how they are charged, are determined by that show.

HANDOUTS/LEAFLETS/VENDING

The distribution of promotional items, flyers, handbills or printed materials on the Grand Ole Opry property including the Opry Plaza, is not permitted without written permission of the Grand Ole Opry. In addition, resale of any event tickets, unauthorized vending, peddling or product sampling is not allowed.

The Grand Ole Opry, an American icon and Nashville, Tennessee’s number-one attraction, is world-famous for creating one-of-a-kind entertainment experiences for audiences of all ages. HOSTING AN EVENT

The Grand Ole Opry House is located right next door to the incredible Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center and many other hotels are in immediate proximity in the Music Valley area.

LOST AND FOUND

Any item found at the Grand Ole Opry House will be turned in to the Opry lost and found office.

LOST CHILDREN

If you become separated from your child during an event, please seek the nearest Host or Hostess or Security Officer for assistance. It always helps if your child has his or her seat location information or ticket with them.

PERFORMING ON THE OPRY

The Grand Ole Opry features established professional entertainers who have achieved a level of success and recognition in the country music industry. The Grand Ole Opry contacts performers to schedule appearances, and there is no audition process.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Among items that are prohibited from the Opry Entertainment Complex and Grand Ole Opry show are: weapons (with or without a permit), oversized bags, outside food and beverage, cans, bottles, alcohol, drugs, laser pens, video cameras, monopods, tripods, audio recording devices, and cameras with telephoto or zoom lenses. You may bring in a personal camera (no professional cameras allowed other than pre-approved press) for the Grand Ole Opry Show or tours of the Opry House.  Video and audio recording is prohibited in the Opry House. Photography policies for other events held in the Opry House are determined by the individual show and often include no photography, video, or audio recording.  The photography policy for those specific events will be posted outside the Opry House at the time of the event.

RE-ENTRY

For most events at the Grand Ole Opry House, all exits are final.

Video and audio recording is prohibited in the Opry House. REFUNDS

Grand Ole Opry show and tour tickets are non-refundable.  At times, artists change their date of appearance after they have been added to the opry.com Calendar of Shows, but because every Grand Ole Opry show is comprised of many artists, shows go on as scheduled and no refunds will be issued.  For tickets purchased for other events held at the Grand Ole Opry House, please contact the point of ticket purchase regarding cancellations as event promoter policies vary.

RENTALS AT THE OPRY ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX

The Opry Entertainment Complex offers many opportunities to host events. For more information please call the Special Event Services department at (615) 231-1503 or visit our Venue Rental section on opry.com.

RESTAURANTS

There are no restaurants located within the Opry Entertainment Complex, but you will find a variety of restaurants located nearby, including the Opry Backstage Grill located just off McGavock Pike at the Inn at Opryland. Plus, the Grand Ole Opry House concession stands offer a wide range of items (see Concessions).

RESTROOMS

Men’s and Women's restrooms may be found on all levels of the facilities. Restrooms are also available at the Ticket Office.

SEATING

The Grand Ole Opry House and Ryman Auditorium feature pew seating, like that in many churches. Pews in the Opry House are cushioned, whereas those in the Ryman Auditorium are not.

SEATING CAPACITY

For Opry shows, the seating capacity of the Opry House is 4,372 and the Ryman Auditorium is 2,200. For all other events, seating capacity changes depending on the set-up of the event.

SEGWAYS

The Grand Ole Opry House is unable to accommodate Segway personal transportation devices.

SECURITY

The Grand Ole Opry staff is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Any guest in need of assistance during an event should seek a Host or Hostess. For more information, see Code of Conduct.

SMOKING

In compliance with Nashville regulations, there is no smoking permitted anywhere in ANY FACILITY. This policy is strictly enforced. Violation of this regulation is grounds for ejection. All exits are final. The Grand Ole Opry House does not allow for smoking passes.

STROLLERS

If necessary, guests may bring strollers to events in the Grand Ole Opry House. Please understand, however, that these strollers must be collapsible and checked at the door. You may not leave strollers in the walkways, gates, or concourses and our staff will not guard these items for you. The Opry is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged strollers.

TEMPORARY DISIBILITIES

If you have a temporary disability/injury please call our Customer Service department at 1-800-SEE-OPRY, and we will make the necessary arrangements for you to attend the event in a comfortable and enjoyable manner. When calling, please have your confirmation number available.

TICKET STUBS

Your ticket stub is proof that you are in possession of a valid ticket for the event that you are attending and also designates your correct seat location. This information will also help our staff locate your party in the event that you become separated. Grand Ole Opry staff may ask to see your ticket at any time during the event.

TICKETS

Purchasing Tickets
Tickets for events at the Grand Ole Opry House may be purchased at the following authorized points of purchase: in person at the Grand Ole Opry House Ticket Office located at the Opry House, calling Opry Customer Service at 1-800-SEE-OPRY, online at opry.com.  For some special events being held at the Opry House, tickets may also be available via TicketMaster (online at TicketMaster.com, at a TicketMaster Outlet or by calling TicketMaster at (800) 745-3000).  Tickets purchased through TicketMaster are subject to TicketMaster service fees in addition to the cost of the ticket. These sources are the only authorized ticket-selling agents of events at the Grand Ole Opry House. Please be advised that we cannot vouch for the authenticity of tickets obtained through any other source. The Grand Ole Opry House will not honor counterfeit and other invalid tickets.

As an event start time approaches, please purchase your tickets directly from the Opry House Ticket Office as online and phone sales will be cut off at varying times based on event time.

The Grand Ole Opry House provides disabled accommodations and sells tickets to disabled individuals through Opry Customer Service at (800) 733-6779.

Accepted forms of Payment
Cash, American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, are all acceptable forms of payment at our Ticket Office. We also accept checks or money orders with a valid photo ID for tickets purchased at the Ticket Office only.

Children
Please check the event profile for your specific event for the minimum age requirement prior to your purchase of tickets. For Grand Ole Opry events, all children who have reached their fourth birthday require a ticket to gain admittance to the Grand Ole Opry House.
