SCRAPBLASTERS
Scrapblasters are 99% UPcycled functional art.
Artists Brian Westcott and John Brink scour the waste stream for discarded items then upcycle them into works of functional art. From the original Scrapblasters stereo systems to the lamps and vehicles made from found items we aim to make life more beautiful sounding and looking using the materials all around us otherwise discarded by our post consumer society.
Our one-of-a-kind stereo creations contain fully powered sub-woofers that are compatible with any Personal Music Player, iPod, tape deck, boom box and best of all - they CRANK! We also create amazing lighting out o recycled plastics among many other items.
For more information on obtaining any of these, or for leasing the sound system or for exhibitions or installations please contact Brian Westcott at brian@scrapblasters.com, or John Brink at john@scrapblasters.com.
