It’s finally here! Tattered Fly’s Fly Tying section of the website is up and live. You can find the permanent link to Fly Tying in the top navigation bar of this website.
Fly tyer extraordinaire, Tim Blount, will be providing several of his unique fly patterns to start and we hope to roll out a new pattern every week or so. Tim has started with his ‘Electric Stayner Ducktail pattern. Each fly pattern shown will show pictures of each stage of construction to walk you through the steps to create the fly.
We’ve had several readers inquire- So, in addition to Tim’s patterns, Tattered Fly will also be accepting patterns from readers that would like to show off one of their creations to the world. Details on how to submit a fly.
For those wanting to use RSS & readers to keep track of the fly patterns as they are released, we have set up a feed that will show you only the fly tying articles.
Finally, if you would like to talk about the patterns shown, you will find a discussion thread about each pattern in the Fly Tying section of the Forum after each new pattern is posted.

Looks like this is going to be a great addition to the site. The step by step is great with excellent pictures. Thanks for the feature.
