The Acquisitions and Collection Development Round Table (ACDRT) exists to promote and improve library acquisitions and collection development work, to encourage the exchange of ideas and techniques among libraries, and to foster relations with other branches of library service, publishers, dealers, jobbers, and other libraries and organizations.  It also tries to keep up with current trends in the field of identifying and acquiring library materials for all types of libraries.

ACDRT Goals & Objectives:

  • To plan and present programs at the TLA Annual Conference.
  • To plan our annual vendor breakfast/business meeting.
  • To write and distribute our annual round table newsletter.
  • To develop and maintain a web page for the round table.
  • To place the roundtable history on the website.
