Charcoal Canister Reroute

Since I broke the charcoal canister way back when I was last working on the shifter cable replacement (and since the replacement part is something like $250 from toyota), I decide to just reroute things per this discussion via the alltrac.net forums.

I used new silicone tubing instead of re-using the existing hose, so I did not need to add a nylon fitting like in the illustration.

I tried to start the car, but it did not want to (part of the problem is probably that the new blow-off-valve is not attached, so there's a huge hole that can suck air in after the AFM, and part of the problem is also probably the old gas that is in the car).
