The Warrior Open is a competitive 36-hole golf tournament, including an 18-hole Pro-Am, which will take place on October 1-2, 2014 at Las Colinas Country Club near Dallas, TX.  The event honors U.S. service members who serve and sacrifice to defend the United States of America and heralds the many effective organizations that give their time, talents and resources to support the men and women of our military and their families.

Congratulations to the winners of the 2014 WarriorOpen! The Pro-Am winning team was made up of Joel Edwards, Sergeant First Class Jake Keeslar, and Senior Chief Petty Officer Steve Winingham. The Warrior Cup (awarded to the low-net winner) goes to Staff Sergeant Andrew Bachelder, and the Champion Cup (awarded to the low-gross winner) goes to Sergeant Major Rod Gorman.

About the Military Service Initiative

The mission of the Bush Institute’s Military Service Initiative is to honor the service and sacrifice of post-9/11 veterans and military families by improving their well-being and unleashing their potential.

Through research, resources, programs and Presidential recognition, the Military Service Initiative unites and empowers communities, military service organizations, businesses, universities and individual citizens to effectively support service members, veterans and their families in the areas of jobs, wellness, family, education, housing and women’s veteran issues.
