Fuel Surcharges
The fuel surcharge percentage for FedEx Express® services is subject to monthly adjustment based on a rounded average of the U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC) spot price for a gallon of kerosene-type jet fuel.
The fuel surcharge percentage for FedEx Ground® services is subject to monthly adjustment based on a rounded average of the national U.S. on-highway average price for a gallon of diesel fuel.

*There is a two-month lag between the fuel price index and the fuel surcharge. For example, the fuel surcharge for November 2012 is based on the September 2012 average spot price of fuel. FedEx may use the monthly average fuel price posted on eia.gov as of this date or calculate the monthly average price based on daily spot prices posted as of the date.
The fuel surcharge rate for FedEx Express services applies to U.S., U.S. export, U.S. import, and U.S. to Puerto Rico shipments.
The fuel surcharge rate for FedEx Ground services applies to both U.S. and international shipments.
