Collaboration Creates One-of-a-Kind Opportunities

Each summer, six SU civil engineering students travel to Dubai for a unique internship experience established by Abdallah Yabroudi ’78, G’79. The international developer created this program as a way to give civil engineering students the practical, real-world experience that can’t be gained in a classroom or through a textbook. SU and IBM Open Green Data Center

Syracuse University, in partnership with IBM and New York State, has opened what is believed to be the most energy-efficient data center in the world. The facility is expected to use less than half the energy required by a typical data center. Read more
