Lost Valley Release Date!

by Kirika on October 9th - 2014 at 04:57:34 PM in Harvest Moon News

spacer Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley got it's official release date today via the Natsume social media pages. Be sure to mark your calendars. Nov. 4, 2014 is the release which means we have 26 days left to wait!

Pre-orders on the Natsume Store have officially opened up as well. With that being said, they're also giving the option of either the premium bonus plush Bunny or the small normal pre-order LV dog.

The dog plush is no different from the one GameStop is giving out. Those wanting the premium should know that it does cost an additional $10.00 jumping the price of the game from $29.99 to $39.99

Lost Valley should debut in the fall

by Kirika on September 8th - 2014 at 04:16:08 PM in Harvest Moon News

spacer Just in case you haven’t been following all the news on Natsume’s upcoming title, Harvest Moon The Lost Valley, I’ve complied some links for those looking to read up on the features, characters and storyline.

PAX 2014 Interview | Natsume’s Facebook | Gamesradar | Joystick | Nintendo Life | US Gamer

You can also find additional information on CeeCee's Tumblr.

No “real” date has been set for the release, but we do know thanks to the PAX interview that Natsume is hoping to have the game on the shelves by the end of October.

Pre-orders are open on most of the shops online except of the Natsume Store; once again there will be a preorder bonus plush.  The one showing up on Game Stop is of the dog from the game. Amazon didn't say if it came with the bonus but I'm just assuming it will. Please correct me if this is wrong.

On another note players who loved the gameplay of Hometown Story should rejoice. Natsume has released an iOS app game titled Hometown Story Pocket.  What is it?  To put it bluntly it's really just a simplfied version of the 3DS title.  However it's got some major changes...It focuses only on your shop alone and keeping your customers happy.

Those looking to give it a try should know that the app is free to play. Though it does say something about in-app purchases when you go to install it.

Natsume´s E3 and The Lost Valley

by Kirika on June 4th - 2014 at 08:49:37 AM in Harvest Moon News

spacer Yesterday afternoon Natsume, a worldwide developer and publisher of family-oriented video games, announced that they will be releasing a new Harvest Moon title for the 3DS system.

Little is actually known about the game since they’re waiting to officially announce it at E3.

What we do know is that it will be named Harvest Moon The Lost Valley and they are expecting to release later this year.

Natsume has also released the stroy synopsis. It reads: Harvest Moon The Lost Valley for 3DS is the latest game in Natsume’s long-running fan-favorite series. Hiking your way through the mountains one day, you become caught in an unexpected snowstorm, and find shelter with the help of a faint voice. When you awaken, you find and help a kindly Harvest Sprite buried under the snow, who tells you all of the seasons in the valley have vanished except for winter. To return all 4 seasons to the valley, you’ll need the help of the villagers, the Harvest Sprites, the Harvest Goddess, and even the King of the Underworld! You’ve never played a Harvest Moon game quite like this!

For more information please check out the Natsume Facebook page, official website, and Cee Cee's Tumblr. As mentioned above more information will be disclosed at E3.

Story of Seasons coming to E3!

by Kirika on May 28th - 2014 at 11:18:10 AM in Harvest Moon News

spacer Apparently as of today, Harvest Moon Connect to the New Land for the 3DS which came out in Japan earlier this year is getting an official U.S. title.  But that’s not all.

Along with the new name the series is also switching hands from long time localizer Natsume to the up-and-coming XSEED Games.  For those who aren’t sure if you know any games by the company,  XSEED handled the Ys series (PSP, PSVita), Rune Factory (Wii, DS, 3DS), and Lunar Silver Star Harmony (PSP) as well as some JRPG’s on the Wii.

Due to the switch, CttNL will also be striped of the Harvest Moon title here in the west since XSEED does not hold those rights.  That being said the game will simply be known as Story of Seasons and not Harvest Moon Story of Seasons.

More information on Story of Seasons will be announced during this year’s E3. For those wanting to read the official article that I read this morning here you go. As always, members feel free to discuss your opinions.

Connect to the New Land's Japanese Release!

by Kirika on March 1st - 2014 at 07:56:01 PM in Harvest Moon News

spacer So the new Harvest Moon game, Connect to the New Land, for the Nintendo 3DS was released in Japan on Feb. 27.

At the moment there is no U.S.or European release date. That being said the Meadow will not be starting any game pages on the site for it because I personally do not want to read up on it.

For those wanting to spoil themselves with information though you can watch a Let’s Play by LinandKo over on YouTube. While the game is in Japanese they are talking in English to try and explain a few things so don't worry if you don't understand it. At the moment they have three parts up.
