Bernadette “Bernie” joined the team as our front office receptionist in February 2014. Originally from Chicago, she and husband Michael moved to Austin in 2012 after making their way via Dallas, Scottsdale, Boston, and Marina del Rey. Bernie has a strong background in retail and customer service and will take great care of you! She is a “foodie”, an avid tennis player, and is a fan of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice and all Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holms books.
| Grazyna has been with Dr Zimmet since 2003. She graduated from High School in Warsaw, Poland and from Business School in Paris, France. She came to Austin in 1994, and is fluent in French and Polish. Grazyna is one of the office’s Patient Coordinators. She schedules appointments, answers the phone and does other office tasks. She enjoys reading, traveling, cooking and spending time with her son. |
| Lidija operates both as our licensed vocational nurse and as one of our Skincare Specialists. Lidija truly enjoys caring for people and providing our patients with personable and comfortable experience. As a Skincare Specialist, she is available for consultation and will make custom skincare regimen recommendations based on your skin type and goals. She is certified in a number of our treatments including Ultherapy, Liposonix, EndyMed, and CoolSculpting and has received extensive product training. Additionally, she performs chemical peels, microdermabrasion and Advanced FotoFacials.
Lidija’s favorite thing to do in her spare time is to spend time with her daughter, taking her horseback riding and seeking out new adventures together. She is also committed to serving a local favorite charity. She enjoys playing tennis as well as indulging her creative side through oil painting. As far as a favorite food, for lidija, the spicier the better. Her favorite movie is The Notebook and she favors science related non-fiction for reading.

| Carol Parker is our Laser and Skincare Specialist. She has 17+ years of experience in skincare and laser therapies. She specializes in laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation using intense pulsed light & laser technologies. Her certifications include: Laser & IPL for hair removal and skin rejuvenation, Light Sheer, Thermage, Dornier Vascular, and ActiveFX and DeepFX. She is trained in Electrolysis and Sclerotherapy. Prior to joining Zimmet Vein and Dermatology Carol was at Devenir in Austin.
Carol truly enjoys her job and the ability to help people feel better about their skin. It is her passion. In her free time, Carol enjoys playing racquet ball and golf, attending music concerts, volunteering at her church, spending time with family and friends, and, most of all, entertaining her three grandchildren.

| Colleen comes to Zimmet Vein & Dermatology with a professional background in marketing and website development among other things. She is the person to talk to about things you would like to see at our office or if you have any comments for us. She received her BFA at the University of Texas right here in Austin. You can see her artwork on her site colleencassady.com. She has a love of entrepreneurial endeavors, art and design, the discovery of perception altering concepts, reading, and the outdoors.
