HardScape Terrazzo FlooringThe overhead costs of equipment, materials and labor for traditional terrazzo flooring often exceed the budgets of most architects and designers. At HardScape, we have developed a system that rivals traditional Terrazzo Floor while minimizing much of the heavy grinding associated with terrazzo. We apply nine layers of colored cement and fine aggregate to an overlay base which is then ground, polished and sealed-cutting costs by up to two-thirds. This application has been time-tested for decades and uses only the best, proven materials. We have the ability to match any color, and the blend of colors created by multiple overlays produces a granite effect showing true depth of color, as opposed to traditional terrazzo's linoleum-like appearance.In essence, the most important part of any concrete flooring system is the interface. It's what takes the wear and makes the terrazo flooring look good, and stay looking good. We apply industrial-grade acrylic urethane that will give you years of performance. If an enhancement is desired at any time, it's a simple matter of lightly sanding and applying more urethane. Cast-in-Place Stone: Stamped ConcreteWith the increasing popularity of concrete flooring, much is being done with stamped concrete, stamped overlays, cutting and staining. At HardScape, we have done all of these applications many times. Through our experience, we have developed a grouted fabricated stone overlay of the highest quality-not an imitation look or a tape-and-pull overlay system. It far exceeds stamped concrete systems in capturing an authentic look by virtue of the fact that the stones are hand cut and grouted.Seamless Industrial FlooringWe also specialize in seamless epoxy quartz industrial flooring. Our cost-effective concrete floor coatings offer excellent durability and longevity. We have completed thousands of square feet of applications, providing a superior system for back-of-house, kitchens, warehouses, garages and more. |
