Maggie
How Big is Maggie?
Not seen this in the UK, but in the US babies are encouraged to throw their arms up to the question “How big is [insert name here]?” and show how big they are!
We didn’t know that Maggie’s Auntie Colleen was teaching her this new trick, so imagine our surprise when she suddenly started doing it.
Love our Magpie. She’s eating freshly BBQ’s salmon by the way as we figure that’s one step towards that college scholarship!

Maggie Giggles & Jumps (But not at the same time!)
Now my wife Ashley reminded me that this blog’s four or five readers have not had some Maggie action recently, so I thought I’d rectify that with this videoette.
We’ve seen Maggie laugh for the first time, and bounce, we’ve even heard her sing, but nowhere in the same video have we seen her giggle and then jump about a bit, so this is a real treat…….I promise!
Are you sitting comfortably?
Maggie Nails Loving You by Minnie Riperton
With a little bit of help from mummy, Maggie knocks the high bit right out of the park!
Maggie’s Bouncing Giggles
Maggie’s loving her new Bouncy Bouncy toy. If she bounces high enough, the lights and sound go crazy. She loves it. So much, she giggle incessantly. 2028 Olympics?
Maggie’s First Laugh…..at her Daddy!
Getting Maggie ready for bed the other day in Cambridge, she just started cracking up.
Not the last time she’ll be laughing “at” her father methinks! Let’s hope there’s a good measure of “with” smattered in with all those priceless giggles over years to come!
Afternoon Tea at The Fairmont Empress, Victoria BC
As you can see, Maggie was in awe at the sight of her first cup of tea.
As part of a birthday trip (mine not hers) to Victoria, British Columbia in Canada, Ashley suggested we go for afternoon tea at The Fairmont Empress Hotel.

Maggie’s Got a Passport
“But where’s my UK passport daddy?”
We’re off to London to see The Queen in a couple of weeks (oh and to see some family and friends too!)
The US passport process was very easy and now Maggie has her own. Ashley said getting her to lie still for the photo was a fun experience (!)
Now for the British one……
