Research & Major Accomplishments
Laura Hosman is an Assistant Professor of Political Science. Her research specializations are information and communications technologies and international development. Most recently, from 2007-2009, Hosman was Ciriacy-Wantrup Postdoctoral Fellow in National Resource Economics and Political Economy, University of California, Berkeley. Before that, she was a postdoctoral research fellow in 2006-2007 at the Institute for Communication Technology Management at the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business. She was a lecturer in 2007 at the School of Public Policy and Development at USC. Hosman earned an M.A. in Economics and a Ph.D. in Political Economy and Public Policy from USC. She also received an M.A. in International Relations from the University of Amsterdam, while studying there on a Student Fulbright Scholarship.
