CTC Frome
The Club rides each Sunday morning, starting from outside Superdrug in Market Place, Frome at 09:00 for a 09:15 departure and aiming to return by lunchtime or early afternoon.
We average between 6-8 riders per week of varying ages and abilities, and normally ride between 30 / 35 miles at an easy pace.
As our nickname suggests (CTC – Coffee and Tea-Cake Club) the most important part of the Sunday morning ride is the 11:00 stop, where we rest, chat and part-take in the drinking of tea or coffee and the eating of tea cakes or something similar! We insist it must be highly calorific!

What else do we get up to?

Some members participate in organised long distance Audax rides at weekends (see www.aukweb.net for further details).

During the spring / summer cycling season you will also find the occasional all day ride as well as a couple of off-road rides just to keep things interesting.

During the long sunny summer evenings there is also the occasional Friday night pub ride.
