If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then HandsOn Shanghai would like to invite you to join our upcoming Corporate Community Training Program.

Through this 2 day series, HandsOn Shanghai will offer corporate managers who are responsible for the development of their firm's volunteer engagement program a series of corporate workshops that will provide the tools corporate managers need to develop partnerships, build projects, increase internal buy-in and capacity, and effectively monitor their projects in a way that supports the long term needs of the community.

As part of our ongoing effort to support the environmental issues in Shanghai. in 2015 we are launching several new programs for our volunteers. Aimed to mobilize volunteers to clean up local beaches in Shanghai, raise awareness for ocean and marine life protection, and ultimately reduce damage to the marine environment, our first programs will begin the first week of March in partnership with the Nanhui Government.

To make this program have the highest degree of impact and scalability, we are looking for a group of 30 volunteers who will commit to joining this program once a month for 6 months.

What we will do:

• Pick up trash along the beach
  
• Install anti-littering signs
  
• Collect data on beach trash (to be used by the Shanghai Ocean Conservancy

With the recent rise of car ownership and new drivers in China, the number of road safety concerns have multiplied.

To address these issues, in partnership with HandsOn Shanghai, UPS will be bringing their UPS Road Code program to Shanghai's universities and high schools to teach safe driving techniques to teens and helps them drive change surrounding this vital issue. Designed for new drivers to teach them about the hazards they might encounter, our hope is to help these young drivers improve their driving habits and increase their awareness of road safety in general.
