Needles in a Haystack
Matt Schwede MD’15 studied statistics at Harvard, but he didn’t have to leave math behind as a medical student. Working with Eric Morrow, MD, PhD, Schwede was lead author of a statistical analysis that found that two genes responsible for rare forms of autism play a wider role in the disease.
