Patrick Wolf – LupercaliaLoved his album “The Magic Position” and somehow missed the three albums he’s put out since. CD is an import, so MP3 version is cheaper.

I’m still on a Charlotte Martin kick. My favorite song on this one is “Tremble.”
- Charlotte Martin – On Your Shore
I’d heard of this artist years ago, but I don’t know why it took me so long to get one of her albums. The more I listen to this album, the more I love it.
- We Are Serenades – Criminal Heaven
Happy, poppy music from two Swedes from the bands Shout Out Louds and Laakso.
- Louise Burns – Mellow Drama
I stumbled upon this Canadian songwriter on YouTube and bought the album on iTunes right away. I suck at describing music, but I know I like it!
- Florence and the Machine – Ceremonials
I love, love, LOVE Florence + The Machine. I loved the first album and the second one is made of awesome too. It’s one of those rare albums where I don’t have to skip a single song.
- The Brain that Changes Itself
Fascinating book about how our brains are constantly changing and reorganizing, affecting everything from balance to intelligence to love and sexual preference.
- Scala & Kolacny Brothers – Hungriges Herz
I’ve had this song on repeat track all day. Not sure what the German lyrics mean. Don’t want to :) By the same group that covered “Creep” in the trailer for “The Social Network.”
- Switched at Birth
I’m a bit embarrassed to be watching anything on the ABC Family channel, but this cute little show charmed me. Provides an interesting window into deaf culture too. Watch on Netflix streaming.
