BIOGRAPHICAL:David Abeshouse is an experienced and well-known business litigator, arbitrator, and mediator. His professional practice revolves around business-to-business dispute resolution from diverse perspectives. He actively represents clients as their attorney-advocate in commercial litigation, arbitration, and mediation proceedings; serves regularly as neutral arbitrator or mediator on the commercial panels of neutrals of several national and international ADR forums, including the American Arbitration Association, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution, Resolute Systems, the National Arbitration Forum, the Nassau County Bar Association ADR Tribunal (serving as a neutral on the Commercial and Labor/Employment Arbitration Panels & Mediation Panels), and others, as well as runs a private neutral arbitration and mediation practice. David Abeshouse has extensive experience mediating and arbitrating business cases as neutral. He is a member of several bar associations' dispute resolution sections; a past Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Law Committee; and a member of the NY State Dispute Resolution Association (NYSDRA). He is a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators (CCA), and a past Adjunct Professor of ADR Law at St. John's University School of Law in Queens, NY. Recently, he served as neutral party-appointed arbitrator in a commercial dispute involving a major ADR forum (appointed by the forum party). He was recognized as a New York Metro Area "Super Lawyer" 2007, 2012, 2013, and 2014 for ADR Law; and repeatedly has been selected as one of L.I. Pulse magazine's "Top Rated Long Island Legal Eagles" for 2010, 2011, and 2012 (ADR category). He is rated "A-V Preeminent/5.0 out of 5.0" by the Martindale legal directory 1995 - present; and has enjoyed a "Superb" 10/10 rating on AVVO.com continuously from 2008 - present.
