Improving the Health of Our Ecosystems

We work to promote the preservation of Appalachian forestland by:

Ensuring that hardwood products originating from Appalachian forests are obtained, manufactured and distributed using sustainable practices with ASD’s WoodRight, a green wood products marketing program.
Using education and training to promote restorative forestland practices and promote the cultivation of Agroforestry products (shitake mushrooms, ginseng, goldenseal, ramps and pawpaws).
