Rosary Army doesn’t provide supplies, but because we give away our Rosaries for free, and we depend on people like you to donate Rosaries, we’ve done our best to find the least expensive vendors for twine and Crucifixes. If you’ve found them cheaper, let us know!

Our Lady’s Rosary Makers
Our Lady’s Rosary Makers, like Rosary Army, is an apostolate dedicated to spreading the prayer of the Rosary. We get most of the Crucifixes we use on our Rosaries from them. They now sell nylon twine in 1-pound spools for a very inexpensive price, but please note that because these are OLRM mission supplies, any rosary made with these materials must be given away and not sold.

As of 3/20/13, colors available from Our Lady’s Rosary Makers @ $6.00 plus shipping: Natural, Black, Forest Green, Orange (neon), Pink (neon) or Yellow(neon).

Nylon Net
Nylon Net offers a good supply of solid color twine, and they’ve committed to providing even more colors. They sent us a few samples and the twine made good, solid Rosaries. Some of the twine is dyed colors (but still very nice) and some of it is made from pre-dyed filament. Please be sure to support them, and be sure to tell them Rosary Army sent you!

FishNet Co. is a relatively new supplier of twine for Rosary Army, but so far their twine and service has been met with high regards from members of our Rosary Army forum. The more twine they sell, the more colors they might add to their selection.

Rosary Cord is a twine reseller and they may offer additional twine color variations.

Memphis Net & Twine Co. only has green or white nylon twisted twine available, but we’ve been told by Rosary makers that their white twine is good for custom dying using RIT dye, Kool-Aid, or other dying techniques, and can be purchased at a discount when buying 12 or more.

TwineByDesign.com
Twine By Design is currently the only twine supplier who has variegated twine available, as well as a selection of solid colors. According to their website, their twine is made from solution-dyed colored filament yarns that are dyed prior to twisting the strands.

Catholic Parts sells #36 nylon 3-strand twisted, non-bonded in 1 lb. spools in several different colors. They also sell lighter weights and are adding monthly to the selection on these, as well.

Bulk Crucifixes

Note: If you’re going to donate your Rosaries to Rosary Army, you can send them with or without the Crucifix (just make the complete Rosary except for the last knot, leave about a foot of twine at the end, and we’ll add a nice metal Crucifix before giving your Rosary away for you).

All of the Rosaries we give away have metal Crucifixes on them (instead of plastic Crucifixes or knotted crosses). We order most of our medals and Crucifixes from Our Lady’s Rosary Makers or Autom Online Catalog because they’re the least expensive distributors we’ve found of bulk religious items.
