We offer many ways of getting help with your computer and IT problems.
Local IT support staff
You can get on-the-spot help from your college or department. This should be the first place you go to for IT help. Our 'Getting started' guide has links to college and department IT support contacts.

The Help Centre
The IT Services Help Centre in Banbury Road provides front-line user support services for staff and students. Only current university members are eligible to use the Help Centre, so you will need to have your University Card with you for identification when visiting us.
In addition to being the first contact point for UAS and Bodleian desktop support, we typically deal with:
- registration issues (passwords, accounts etc)
- computing advice and information
- PC/Macintosh support
- repair and upgrade of personal computers
You can call the Help Centre on 01865 273200 or contact us via the Help Request Form.
On Monday to Friday, between 9.00am and 5.00pm, we offer booked appointments with a help desk consultant for help and advice on a wide range of computing issues – call 01865 273200 to book. There is also a drop-in service available from 5.30pm to 8.30pm.
