Estimated Program Fees

Program fee includes airport transfer and orientation in Budapest, accommodations in fully-furnished shared apartments, cultural program, and six credits of course work.

Bard College and the School for Public Policy at CEU invite motivated undergraduates to spend this summer in Budapest.

Summer 2015

Coursework includes a three credit Protests, Social Movements, and Social Change course offered by School of Public Policy faculty member Austin Choi-Fitzpatrick, and an additional three-credits for a Theory to Practice course complementing the internship and offering insight into the role of institutions in social change and professional skills development.

Internships are competitive and students are encouraged to apply in advance of the deadline. Majors in Government, Policy, International Relations, Human Rights, Peace & Social Justice, History, and Political Science are particularly welcome. Knowledge of Hungarian is not required, and internships and courses are conducted in English.
