Startl is selecting three LEARNING COMPANIES to participate in the regular DreamIt three-month residency program in New York City running from May 10 to August 16, 2013.  If chosen, Startl will cover the cost of your participation.

The DreamIt /Startl collaboration will provide you with startup funding, technologists and strategiests who can join your team, speakers with expertise in every aspect of tech startups, donated legal and accounting services, and introductions to angel investors, venture capitalists and other sources of public and private funding.

Startl will provide each team with a mentor, specifically chosen to add the greatest value to the team’s ambition, plus we will run targeted sessions and workshops from leaders in the field of learning and education on topics ranging from human-centered design strategies, to marketing and distribution to schools, to beta testing opportunities with real users.

This 12-week crash course is the best of experiential learning.  By collaborating 24/7 with a cohort of other entrepreneurs, plus having free access to industry experts, mentors, lawyers, accountants, and investors, participants gain startup experience that is hard to acquire in another setting.

If selected into the Startl Accelerator program, participants will be responsible for building a market-ready product and having their companies ready for funding and/or launch by the end of the three months.  All founding team members will be required to live in the New York City metropolitan area for the program’s three-month tenure.  The invitation will include a stipend of $5,000 per founding team member (up to four, for a maximum of $25,000) and in return, DreamIt and Startl will take a total 6% equity stake in participating company.
