Welcome to the Deadline technology preview. Deadline is a new calendar/reminder application from Helicoid that uses an incredibly simple interface based on natural-language text parsing.

What is it?

• Deadline is the simplest calendar ever made
• It will remind you about important dates
• Write events in English, like this: Meeting tomorrow at 3pm
• Search for events in English too
• Simple, Twitter-like interface
• Free to use (like Helipad)

How do I use it?

1. Login with your Helipad email and password here: deadlineapp.com
2. Ensure your time zone is set correctly

What works with it?

• Get email reminders
• Email events into your Deadline account (great if your mobile phone supports email)
• Set and receive events with Jabber/Gtalk
• Subscribe from within iCal and other calendar programs that support iCal feeds
• Subscribe from within an RSS/Atom reader

What are the limitations?

• Sometimes if an event cannot be understood Deadline will prompt you with a date selector
• Deadline can only understand English
• Deadline events are limited to 140 characters, this is intended for future SMS integration
