8:30 am - 2:30 pm

The New Pedagogy of the Common Core and Science Standards
Join Dr. Robert Marzano – noted education researcher, trainer and author of Using Common Core Standards to Enhance Classroom Instruction and Assessment – for a full-day institute. The Common Core standards and the new science standards not only represent a shift in the rigor of the subject matter content that student must master, they also signify a shift in what is considered to be effective instruction at all grade levels. This session will detail those pedagogical shifts and provide concrete examples of how instructional strategies and instructional planning must change.
