Geek Eccentric will be going dark for the remainder of 2014 and into the beginning of 2015. This isn’t us shutting the doors, turning off the lights, and thanking everyone for a nice ride. Rather, we’re in the process of redesign and rethink.

Over the past year, it’s become clear that we need a different focus, a different way of approaching content and interacting with our audience. Lately, it feels, we haven’t been so good at that. While there are plenty of reasons, all of them good, the reality is that Geek Eccentric wants to be there for our readers, our fans, and our friends. We want to add something positive to the world and to geek culture.

How long will we be dark? We don’t know. Our hope is about a month, but … again … we don’t know.

What we do know is that we’ll be back and this period of darkness will be worth it.

Thank you for coming and visiting, for seeing what we’ve created and being apart of Geek Eccentric. We look forward to continuing and improving that relationship in 2015.
