Transfer to IU Southeast

Welcome! Our focus is different at IU Southeast, our focus is on you. We help you do more than complete a degree. We help you surpass your expectations and experience success. Students are always welcome to contact us with questions. You may call 812-941-2212spacer or email the Admissions Office at admissions@ius.edu.

Plan Now, Transfer Later

Prospective transfer students are encouraged to contact us early in their college career. We can give you more information about our majors, help you choose courses that are most beneficial to your chosen degree, and help in determining the optimal time for transfer.

What's next?

You can follow these steps to make the transition to IU Southeast:

  1. Apply for admission and housing. We recommend you apply at the beginning of your last semester with your home insitution.
  2. Apply for financial aid, our school code is 001817.
  3. Apply for general scholarships. There are also several scholarships available just for transfer students!

Transfer students satisfactorily completing Indiana's Statewide Transfer General Education Core (STGEC) receive 30 credit hours toward the general education requirements for their intended major!
