Current Research Project
Making All Digital Devices Equal
The Center is working to identify device features that impact consistent score interpretations when assessments are taken on a tablet or mobile phone instead of a computer. For example, researchers are testing the usability of on-screen keyboards for testing—including auto-correct and predictive text considerations. With this information, the researchers can recommend strategies for developing and delivering assessment and learning content on different digital devices, and generate research-based implementation recommendations for states and school districts.
