The SLA-Illinois Archives contains historical documents and papers from the inception of our Chapter to present day. In addition to paper documents, the Archives houses a small collection of unique artifacts. For example, it contains the Chapter secretary’s official record of the 1942 SLA Conference held in Chicago. Additionally, our official business papers, such as minutes, budgets, meeting notes, etc., are housed in the SLA-IL Archives.
Check out the various items in our archives below as we build upon this wealth of the chapter’s history.
