Have you ever found yourself at the market questioning whether or not an ingredient is really at its peak? Luckily there's Brooklyn Supper, a beautiful, simple food blog that focuses mainly on seasonal products. You can almost guarantee that if an ingredient is in season, Elizabeth and Brian are going to write about it.

They have wonderful recipes and gorgeous photos featuring the absolute best of each season's bounty. Right now, for example we're into the hottest month of summer. While this might not be the best news for those of us who hate the heat, the rest of us summer food lovers are jumping for joy.

To showcase the best of summer's fresh supply, the Brooklyn Supper couple have dishes like Roasted Nectarines with Cardamom Honey, Purslane with Grilled Corn and Tomatoes and a Simple Tabbouleh. One of the site's best features is the "Now in Season" collection of posts that feature seasonally-specific ingredients you should get now. Tomatoes, fennel stone fruits and purslane are all at their best right now.

Check out Brooklyn Supper today for a slew of seasonal inspiration.
