We listen to local young people, train young volunteers and place them in communities to help create brighter futures for young people.
That could be setting up Girls Groups in India, so teenage girls have a safe place to discuss sexual health and rights. Or it could be training unemployed youths in Uganda, empowering them to start their own successful businesses. Or it could be our Ebola response in Sierra Leone, where we trained over 1,780 emergency outreach volunteers, who are working in teams of two in the most affected districts, educating communities on how to protect themselves against the spread of Ebola.
