Katie Holmes Is Heading to Fashion Week

Next stop for newly single Katie Holmes? Fashion Week.
The designer will present her fashion line, Holmes & Yang, for the very first time this September during New York Fashion Week, WWD is reporting.
The women’s clothing line is a collaboration between Holmes and her longtime stylist Jeanne Yang (left), and it is characterized by simple-yet-chic pieces that are very much in line with the actress’s personal style.
The brand — which includes daywear, eveningwear and handbags — launched in 2009 and is currently sold at Barneys and Harvey Nichols in London, but presenting it in N.Y.C. will open the doors to new buyers and retailers and help to make it a household name.
The news comes soon after the actress’s announcement that she filed for divorce from her husband Tom Cruise, who Yang also works with, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It remains to be seen whether or not the stylist will sever ties with Cruise, but one thing’s for sure: Yang’s relationship with Holmes is going strong. Tell us: Are you interested in seeing Holmes’s line at Fashion Week? Do you think she’ll focus more on designing now that she’s single?
